Usage Precautions
Clutch Gap: During installation, use a feeler gauge to check the air gap between the driven disc and the pulley. Excessive gap can cause slippage and burnout; insufficient gap will prevent complete disengagement after power is cut off.
Coil Resistance: Normal coil resistance is typically between 2-5 ohms. Values outside this range may indicate coil burnout or a short circuit.
Belt Alignment: Ensure the pulley and engine drive wheel are strictly aligned to prevent uneven wear that could lead to bearing overheating and damage.
Regular Inspection: Check for grease seepage into the friction plates. Grease can cause clutch slippage and abnormally high temperatures.
