Applicable Vehicle Models
This cross axle is widely used in Shaanxi Automobile heavy-duty truck models equipped with Hande single-stage reduction drive axles or double-stage reduction drive axles:
Shaanxi Automobile Delong full series: X3000, M3000, F3000, F2000, H3000, etc.
Vehicle Categories: Tractor trucks, dump trucks, concrete mixer trucks, and various special-purpose chassis

1. As a "Rotating Skeleton": Support and Fixation
This is its fundamental physical role. The cross shaft is firmly press-fitted or locked to the differential housing, and its protruding journals at both ends are used to mount the planetary gears. It provides a precise and stable center of rotation for the planetary gears.
2. As a "Power Distribution Hub": Transmission and Distribution
This is its core dynamic role.
Power Input: The differential housing rotates under the power drive from the driveshaft, directly driving the cross shaft to rotate as well.
Power Transfer: The cross shaft drives the planetary gears on it to revolve around the half-shaft axis (vehicle longitudinal axis), transmitting power to the planetary gears.
Power Distribution: The planetary gears then mesh and transmit power to the left and right half-shaft gears, thereby driving the left and right half-shafts and wheels.
3. The Key Vehicle for Realizing Differential Function
This is its most important functional value. When the vehicle is traveling in a straight line, the resistance of the left and right wheels is the same. The planetary gears revolve synchronously with the cross shaft but do not rotate on their own axis, distributing power evenly to both sides.
When the vehicle turns, the resistance of the inner wheel increases, and the planetary gear, supported by the cross shaft, begins to rotate around its own axis, automatically adjusting the speed of the left and right half-shaft gears to achieve a smooth differential and avoid tire wear and mechanical damage.
