Physical Assembly Location: The inner sleeve (spline hole) is directly fitted onto the outer end of the brake camshaft on the axle. The top fork joint is then fastened to the pushrod of the brake chamber (brake caliper) via a pin.
Dual Core Application Mechanism: Braking Force Transmission (Service Braking): When the driver depresses the brake pedal and high-pressure air rushes into the brake chamber, the chamber pushrod extends forward, pushing the adjusting arm (199000340056) forward, thereby rotating the camshaft. This forces the brake pads (brake shoe friction linings) inside the wheel outward, tightly pressing them against the brake drum, achieving truck deceleration or emergency stopping.
Automatic Clearance Adjustment (Clearance Compensation): Under frequent braking, heavy trucks experience continuous wear on the brake pads and brake drum, causing the clearance between them to increase. The air chamber requires a longer pushrod stroke to bring the vehicle to a stop. The 199000340056 integrates a one-way clutch and worm gear structure. Every time the brake is released, it can automatically sense and measure the gap. If the gap exceeds the standard, it will automatically reverse and finely adjust the angle of the camshaft to keep the gap between the brake pads and the brake drum locked within the micron-level safety standard range.
